BEFORE

  • Ensure you are in a quiet location without distractions (silence your phone, notify those you live with)

  • ​Create a space to support maximum comfort and warmth while lying down (blankets, pillows, eye cover)

  • You may fall asleep, plan accordingly (brush your teeth, remove contacts)

  • Avoid attaching expectations, not everyone experiences the full potential of the practice on their first try

DURING

  • Allow yourself to let go and rest through physical stillness

  • ​Palms can be face up, down or placed over your heart

AFTER

  • ​Take your time introducing movement re-entering your day

  • Look around you, take in your environment with fresh eyes

  • Reflect on how you feel differently from the beginning of practice

    • What words or phrases resonated with you?

    • What insights or clarity did you gain?
